Job description and key responsibilities including virtual/remote expectations:
Positive, enthusiastic attitude, Strong communication skills, both written and oral, Excellent organizational skills, Experience with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel, Google Docs, and other software and social media programs.
Responsibilities: Assist with recruitment, data collection and upkeep of data for reporting purposes, Assist with research and data collection (school related, diversity, community, alumni, etc.), Serve on the School of Education Diversity Committee, Assist with communicating with partners regarding visits, service learning projects, professional development, etc., Oversee planning and delivery of Cohort meetings with TOC II students, Oversee planning and delivery of Quest presentation, Assist with other duties/special projects as needed.
Learning outcomes related to the GA’s academic program: We ask that all our Graduate Assistants agree and adhere to the Field Placement Office Intern Expectation Review and Contract, which supports our core values • Accountability • Professionalism • Integrity.
Restrictions to the type of student who would be eligible: This graduate assistant would benefit from access to a computer and email.
Behavioral expectations, i.e. preferred communication timeline for a GA to needs to call out sick: As soon as need for an absence or a schedule modification is known the GA should email request to the TOC-TRUST Director.
Specific information regarding this position: A Graduate Assistantship is available with the TOC-TRUST grant funded program in the School of Education. This position requires 20 hours per week and provides a stipend and tuition scholarship.
